Just like your body needs proper nutrition to function properly, so does you brain. To keep your grey matter in top shape, here are some friendly brain food.

1. Fish: Contains plenty of Omega-3 fatty acids, DHA and fish oils.

2. Vegetables: A good source of antioxidants that can reduce your risk of cognitive impairments.

3. Fruits: Also a rich source of antioxidants, especially oranges, cherries, kiwis, and berries.

4. Water: Not exactly food, but an essential part to keeping your brain functioning.

5. Chocolate: In moderation, the cocoa bean contains flavanol epicatechin and antioxidants. Make sure to buy the good quality kind.
