Turmeric is fat soluble, so it is best to use it in sauces and salad dressings which can bind with fat.
Secondly, curcuminoid molecules are not easily absorbed by the intestine, but can be boosted up to 2000 times with the presence of piperine. Piperine is found in black pepper and is essential to use when cooking with Turmeric.
